We had this at Christmas dinner for the wedding of Pierre Grangeon and Jelena Milojevic in Thonon, France. The color was a light ruby red and the nose was chocolate and dark cherry. The front palate was dark cherry, black berries and red berries. It had a little earth, oak and dark fruit mid palate. It was well balanced with tannins and acidity and had a long finish. It paired nicely with morels, potato gratin dauphinois and chicken.
