Still needs more time. Marvelous citrus, intensity, showing mainly primary fruit, with first hints of secondary development. Acid backbone suggests this vintage will live for many more years. The wine looks greenish gold colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle.
A 60th Birthday Dinner (Nopa, San Francisco): Based upon 2 bottles which were very consistent. Full yellow. Classic aromas of peach and some fusel. Full bodied, totally dry, more lemon than stone fruit, long mineral finish. Fantastic.
Needs about 30 mins or so to come together, nice mix of triopical fruit, macerated green apple, some lemon rind and petrol, nice secondary fruit feel on the palate with pronounced lemon rind on the mid palate through the finish
