The nose is enticing with notes of lychee, pear, white pepper, clove & honey ~ On the palate it's plush & viscous up front then the acidity grips the palate & provides nice balance with flavors of apple sauce, lychee, spice & tropical fruits ~ A really enjoyable wine & a great representation of the grape

Very enjoyable, if simple, gewurz. Powerfully aromatic, with big floral and tropical notes. Big, obvious lychee flavor that's extremely pleasant. Thick, syrupy mouthfeel and sweetness is balanced by searing acidity in the finish so that it appears completely dry. Nice and dependable.

Clean appearance and noticeably viscous. Aromas of sweet honey, sultanas, pear concentrate and apricot. very intense on the palate with a lot of weight but needed some backbone to stand on. Decent for the price. $19

so juicy, so satisfying. what it doesn't deliver in complexity is more than made up for in just plain fun. just to let you know this does have some rs so those of you who don't like a semi dec, or demi sec, i do not advise. this is full bodied and will satiate a desire for an off dry wine and is something to wash down a light dessert like poached/baked pears topped w gruyere (I've had it, it's awesome). beautiful on the nose and nicely balanced in the mouth with just enough acid. i do recommend this wine. bottled under screwcap! don't age this as the freshness here is part of what makes the wine great. wish i had some watermelon to eat with this to follow in the footsteps of theronware.

Has the expected lychee aroma and fruit flavors but on the nose there was a certain off-note on the nose too. Palate was fine, however. As always, this producer is very solid, especially when factoring in cost. From sample bottle.
