Color: Ruby Smell: Lean & rustic notes of tomato leaf, tart red fruits, mushrooms, and rustic/earth-driven notes. Taste: A melange of tart red-fruit notes, chalk, and clay come to mind Overall: Light body, high acidity, vibrant fruits, medium tannin, and a long finish. A wine I could easily see enjoying now. However, it will clearly improve with time. Excellent-Outstanding.
Rustic, earthy mushrooms, soil and herbs before sour cherries and tart raspberries came to fore. Plenty of sharp acidity with very noticeable tannins for a pinot noir. Nice now but for our palate, would need more bottle age.
