A "Burgundian" Dinner (Chez Nick): Such an interesting nose, musky and animale with some strawberry fruit. Fresh and sleek, elegant verging on lean, with a spicy finish. This isn't my favourite producer, but the wine smelled great.

A Burgundian evening at Nick's (Chez Nick): This is lovely, succulent and sweet. The most evolved of the three wines in the flight (all 2010s), there is a lovely spicy undercurrent that I associate with Vosne. Most enjoyable, although there is chance I mixed my glasses up on this flight as I can't quite make sense of my written notes.

Burgundian dinner (Chez Nick): A scorched note at first but then there's a wave of dark red fruit, an animal character, spiced sweetness, coffee. Floral notes emerge with time: it's slightly clenched but has good depth and concentration.

Nick's Burgundian dinner (North London): Penultimate bottle of this. Great nose - luscious and a little meaty with dark plum and some herbal elements. On the palate dark fruit which is really sapid sits on a deep structure and a long finish. Young, wish I had a bit more but will wait on the last one i have.

The nose is quite enticing. Vosne spice, some red fruit smells. The mouth slightly more overripe than the nose promises. The end back into more acidity driven aromas. This is pretty good and think it may be more complete with a few more years.
