With some air, this smelled great. I found something different each time I put my nose in the glass - fresh cut mint, light tobacco, orange rind/citrus.
Lighter bodied and elegant. Somewhat simple on the palate, but still very enjoyable. Happy to have a couple more. Ann loved it.

This wine was a real winner. 1er Cru for $40? Yes and I want more. Excellent blend of fruit and earth flavors that jump on the palate. A really nice level of acid make this an outstanding food friendly wine. Tasted along side 2010's from Oregon and California's Anderson Valley and this was the unanimous winner.

Pretty tight and primary even after a day of being opened. Starts more red fruited but turns a little darker with air. Faint mint/red licorice. Ann liked it a lot. As a newcomer to Burgundy, I am anxious to open bottles and learn, but I'm finding I need to be more patient.

Pas génial à mon gout, mais légendaire après 5h en caraffe (dixit C.S.)

Translucent ruby in the glass; lovely floral nose with red & black fruit.
Sweet & sour red fruit on the palate, a little abrupt on the finish, but all in, pretty tasty if not overly complex. I like this.
