  • Obviously way too late and a cheap bottle to boot, but it did survive to now, which is a compliment.

  • Needs air to really show. Nice cherries and leather on the nose. Smooth mouthfeel with notes of tart cherries and earth. Headed downhill but should be drinkable for another 6 months at least.

  • Deep Maroon with a tinge of brown on the edge. Nice fruity nose when first opened, disappeared after a half hour of so and gave way to more of a leathery nose. Palate was somewhat similar where nicely balanced bright fruit was evident at first, but faded to reveal more jammy flavor. Overall light on the palate, but nicely balanced light to medium bodied wine. 2010 is reaching the end of its drinking window in mid 2015, but probably a better drink now that what it was early in life based on notes I read. Good to very good value for 14.99 on sale firm 21.99. Might pick up one or two more for non-serious midweek sipping.

  • Notes of cherry, licorice, red berries, roses, cinnamon and pine forest. Red berry and pepper, clove and plum flavors with a good bit of underlying acidity. Nice finish, but a little thin on the midpalate. All things considered, a decent value.

  • A bit reticent and bland at first, this needed some time in the decanter to open up. Aromas of cherries, red fruit, coffee and florals. Medium-bodied with soft tannins and flavors of cherries and red fruit with bright underlying acidity. Simple, but at less than $20, decent.
