This Contra Costa Country Zinfandel has a lovely ruby cast to it. The nose is black cherry, white pepper, leather and vanilla. The mouth feel is medium bodied with a nice sweet fresh fruit. The middle is well balanced and layer of acid leading to full tannic finish.

Blackberries, black tea, raspberry, and
a long spicy finish.

Really nice. A bit too much oak but otherwise great. Tannins are fine but still gripping; better to drink in a year.

Typical of a classic Rosenblum Zin offering. Hot on the palate and the alcohol overwhelms the nose.

Fruit bomb! Dark color and dark fruit flavors too. Medium firm tannins. This is a fun wine, great for just drinking.
