Golden hue, but no hint of oxidation on the nose. A little reticent on the nose, but eventually declared some stone fruit, honey and lemon. Good palate weight and decent length. Overall the effect was a little disappointing - there was little complexity and maybe it was prematurely aged.

Finally had my first bottle of Antoine Jobard but I did not find it anywhere as exciting as some have claimed. Decent winemaking showing rounded creamy tree fruits, not the lean and reductive style yet not exuberant enough to be memorable. Inexpensive for a Meursault 1er Cru but not the best value either. Typical 2010 white Chardonnay character of rich fruits and high alcohol, a vintage that buyers should be careful about. (85/100)

Attractive aromas - honey on toast, lemon, peach, oatmeal. The palate is firm but generous. There's a wonderful salinity that is balanced by the sweetness of the fruit. The oak is measured and is carried well by the fruit. The overall effect is delicious. Drinking well now, but could easily hold.

Tasted alongside the 2011. Lemon and lemon peel with lots of intense orchard fruit. This came across as subdued last time tried a few years back, but today it was powerful and intense. Very good, close to excellent.

Slightly past peak / oxidized. For such a lauded vintage, I have a dismal record with 2010 whites. Still pleasurable to taste.
