Perhaps this bottle was defective, but this wine had no life. I have drank earlier vintages and always like this wine, but this was terrible. I mean I could drink it, but why? Watery, flat, almost no bouquet. Not sure what to think...

I am very fond of this style of the grape. This bottling seems to draw favorable elements from the Loire Valley, California and New Zealand, wrapping them into a distinctively different version. Pale yellow-green in color, it has an intense nose of citrus peel, kiwi, wet stones and grass. This is a light-to-medium-bodied, tangy Sauvignon Blanc, with well-integrated alcohol (listed as 13.5%) and flavors mirroring the nose. The middle is solid and the crisp finish is lengthy. Buy this well-priced white for pairing with sushi/sashimi or other light fare. You will not be disappointed! Drink now-6/14.

Really great, nicely balanced style with zippy acidity...slightly grassy and grapefruity but not as much as New Zealand....nice minerality on finish...
