Wonderfully full bodied with nice residual front end fruit and just a hint of tannin. Good pepper and dark fruit rolled across the tongue with contributing to great mouth feel and intensity that ended in a nice semi-long finish. Wish I had bought more.

Nice dark center with a purple-pink tinge on the rim. The nose of this 100% zinfandel just soared as I poured it in the decanter. Beautiful nose of dark jammy flavors and toasty minerals? Even some chocolateness? Loved the nose, it made you think..... On the palate a wonderful array of flavors dark fruits, berry, licorice and rich sweet finish. Almost over ripe but for a zin it is right at home.......surprisingly a quite long aftertaste. Alcohol was hidden well label says only 14.5%. I had this wine at the winery it was the 4th of the day and it was decent. But now having it at home it was better than I remember which is a rare thing to happen :) Truly a great QPR!!!

Tasting room notes. Dark fruit (black cherry, current), hint of chocolate. Bit of tannin mid-back palate. Lay down for 3 - 5 years. Another good Zin from Joe Barton.
