Friday tasting, PopnPour, tasted over 1 hr -semi-translucent dark red with minimal browning/clearing at edges -mild reduction blows off, dark fruit and spice -med acidity, elegant, med concentration on med- frame, lightly spicy sappy dark fruit, decent complexity and length -wine of finesse, in early maturity plateau, very Vosne, excellent

Medium ruby core, medium pale garnet rim. Youthful, initially showing very little development with ripe, sweet red and black cherry with vanilla notes - opening out with time in glass to become more red fruity with floral notes and a few hints of soil. Medium bodied on the palate, not hugely intense but quite elegant and airy with refined, silky tannins, red cherries and strawberries, vanilla, floral notes, still quite youthful and fruity with some iron and soil on the medium/good length finish. Very good village wine still with plenty in hand. Drinking now and for at least another 5 years.

Tasted blind: A stewey, herbal nose, tomato leaf; very unfocused ripe fruit showing no real direction. Not a good showing, awkward place right now???
