Lovely, feminine in bouquet and style, masculine in persistance. Grassy, perfumed bouquet and a creamy, nutty midbody ending with volume and a lovely bitterness (to keep the mouth clean); perfect acidity. For me this is a copybook burgundy. Jean-Philippe Fichet knows how to put elegance and purity in a bottle.

Yellow with green reflections; fumey, floral, gasoline-reduction which I like; lychee, pear, melon and light lemon; straw basket, Meursault-like with a medium rich mouthfeel, still with good zippy acidity, and lovely medium long finish. Olde Port Inn, Avila CA, perfect with crab and sand dabs. 90-91
