(Decanted for two hours.) The bouquet is multi-faceted and layered with vibrant strawberry, plum and violet aromas entwined with wood smoke, damp soil and a suggestion of animal musk and vanilla. This smells luxurious and expensive. Medium-bodied, the mid-palate concentration shows silky phenolic weight and density. Fully ripened yet bright, fresh flavors of cherry, strawberry, plum, earth and savory minerality are perfectly framed by an uplifting acidity. These flavors are unbelievably pure and fade slowly like a long, fruit-infused echo. And the moderately full but refined tannins provide reassuring presense and grip. This exciting young wine already demonstrates wonderful depth, balance, and beauty. What will it be like when it comes into its own? 94 points for now but with at least another certainly to come.
on the pop n pour it was hi toned red fruit, great depth, spice in the background, nice acid, decanted four hours, it was roughly the same but some more spice, great mouthfeel (texture), and the acid was very prominent (bordering on too much, and i LOVE acid), within an hour it had largely shut down… i have a feeling these are sleepers and will show very well in 10 to 20 years
Diskret sexy nese med røde bær. Litt spice også. Klokkeren. Vektløs eleganse med deilig fruktkonsentrasjon. Frisk, saftig, fresh nydelig Burgunder. Du har bare lyst på mer etter hver slurk. Meget lang finish med helt fine tanniner. Helt krembanan.
