Clear medium garnet color. Medium body. Open after no more than thirty minutes of air. Nice mouth-feel and density; good acidity; on both nose and palate: stones, black cherries, and blackberries. There is also a very slight oak, mostly well-integrated, but lending tannins that are still a tad drying. A deep, flavorful wine already, lots of personality. Lovely now, but a year or three can only improve it.
Light red cherry, transparent. Brighter fruit on the nose - some cranberry, red cherry, and slightly floral - expressive. Very well balanced with nice fruit, acid , and grip. Obviously young, but this is drinking really well right now and seems like it may be open for a while. The 2010 burgundies I have had so far have been fantastic. Very good QPR on this bottle.
