Peach and lemon curd with some papaya notes, this is very rich with an intriguing botrytis element adding another layer of complexity. If served blind, I'd never ever think this Chablis, but it's an old school Burgundy in its depth and layers. I expect this will age gracefully and even get better as it evolves further and the botrytis gets less pronounced.

Adieu Domaine Dublère Dinner (Monnie Burke's): In 07/08/10/12 vertical. Complex array of orchard and tropical fruit aromas with very good concentration. Good+ length and balance, ending with intriguing hints of botrytis and baked apple. Better than another bottle from last year, in which the sweetness was more pronounced. This barely edged out the 2008 for my favorite wine of the flight and night.

Casual (Mostly) Burg Dinner with Friends (Inovasi - Lake Bluff IL): Apple and pear throughout with good+ weight and length, and very good balance. Good mineral finish. There was an ever-so-slight sweetness in the middle that was a bit distracting, and I hope dissipates with more bottle age.

Rich nearly tropical, botrytis working its magic. Dried apricot with very good length. So much fun now.

Wine Tasted at Acker Auction (Marea - New York NY): subtly tropical aromas, clearly so rich. Similar flavors but with a precise, minerally finish.
