This is in a very, very good place right now. The dark stewed fruit is still silky, but there are no baby fat primary notes to speak of. This wine is evolving with nice secondary notes of garrigue, mushroom, and a nice "dirtiness" with ulttrafine tannins on the finish. Of note, when this bottle was first opened there was evidence of seepage - oxidized wine under the capsule, a site of seepage through the cork, etc; when first opened the wine tasted funky and perhaps oxidized. Amazingly this blew off rather quickly. Since I did not buy the wine at release (though provenance was good judging simply by fill level), I wonder if there may be an issue with the cork.
Either way, drink a bottle now and you likely won't regret it.

Light fruit on the nose, mostly a light raisiny, stewed fruit aroma. Silky tannins and super balanced.

Deepish colour; quite a northern rhone nose of stewed fruit and rotting prunes. Good acidity and glycerin, opens nicely with good length. No hurry.
