Chassagne - Center (Chicago, IL): Double blind. Cleary Burgundy from a ready-to-go vintage as this was firing on all cylinders with approachable black cherry. Tannins and structure are fully integrated. Solidly Gevrey in character with concentration between 1er and Grand Cru.

Virtual Grand Cru Study Session (Home): Medium dark red color, 2mm clear edge. Splash decanted and poured into vessels for transport at 1:30pm. Drank a glass plus over 2 hours starting at 4:30pm. Dried earth, funk, higher tones dried spices on the nose, that rode hard and put away wet leather aroma, a mix of red and black berry fruit, more subtle dried flowers with a little perfumey character slowly evolving. The palate starts showing the red fruits and a more youthful tone, with brambly berries and cassis notes building over time; leather, stone and a medium plus finish round this out. Probably 92 to 92+ on day one, but day two takes this to another level and just shows where this is heading, 93pts with potential upside. Recommended.

Amazing nose; smoke, leather, horse sweat combined with cherry stones and black raspberries. Sweet, rich, black cherry fruit with gorgeous wood smoke. Fairly full, great balance and length. Elegant and refined and in perfect drinking condition. Would have liked a little more power but otherwise excellent and very classic.

Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Tasting #2 (The Tasty Center) (House of Nanda - Chicago IL): Tasted double blind. Very Gevrey, very enjoyable, very balanced and fun, like so many 2010s. Didn't quite seem to have Grand Cru density. Drink now through 2030.
