Some 18 months after my first bottle, I'm still a fan, and my prior tasting note still applies: "This is a nice effort from a small Yakima Valley producer. Medium dark ruby garnet in color. with an earthy cassis note. Ripe fruit but more subdued than California counterparts, so some elegance and earthiness come through (mushroom, forest soil). 50% cab, 38% cab franc, 12% merlot and drinking well now." This is a well made wine that does a nice job of emlating the nuance of a good Bordeaux, but a bit more forward (in a good way). Worth seeking out.
