Noticeable oak on the nose with ripe apples, lemon curd and an odd vegetal note. Ripe pineapples on the palate with a creamy finish. Lots of new oak on the palate as well. Withholding a score and not sure if this was indicative bottle but really didn't enjoy this.

First Paul Lato Chardonnay that I have tasted and it is excellent. Stone fruit, citrus, spice and marzipan. Bright acidity, medium weight and smooth texture. An elegant combination of complex fruit and flinty minerality

Straw, light color. On palate tastes somewhat thin and new, very fruit-forward and not terribly complex. Less backbone and depth than a year ago, but generally enjoyable, and maybe going into some sort of dormancy? Otherwise I'd suggest drinking over the next 1-2 years.

Seems richer with more spice than it did a year and a half ago ago. No stone fruit, it is all marzipan and citrus now. Different but still excellent.

Tropical and vegetal, with sulphur and too much oak. Warm on the palate and very modern style. Reminds me of Aubert in a bad way.
