Popped and poured with dinner. I never heard of the producer, which must mean that this was a Lyle Fass recommendation that I bought on spec. Very nice floral nose with a white fruit and citrus focused palate. Some tart apple and pear with tropical citrus evocative of pineapple. I did not taste significant sugar, which may just mean that the wine had great balance. There was acidity and some minerals that made it a great match for cold steamed lobster.I would buy again.

Feinherb is just what I needed today. I love the tension between the sweetness and the dryness. It nicely pulls the citrus and mineral through with a pretty swallow. These yummy wines hardly sit in my glass long enough to get it wet.

A nice 2010 Riesling. Drank over a few days. Not overly complex but emjoyable for its citrus peel and exotic nose followed by a bunch of tropical fruit, meyer lemon, slate, and acid. Finishes dry and sweet. After recently drinking mostly 2010 Trockens, the RS here stands out.
