Nose: Very perfumed with Olive, Cured Meat, Apricot and earthy spices. Palate: Leather, Ripe Apricot and some cherry fruit. Clove, Black Pepper and a Salami note. Complex and completely resolved. Finish: Just atomizes on the finish falling away and showing powdery tannin.
This was a very interesting wine, and for comparisons sake we put the 95 next to it. Unfortunately the 64 started to fall apart after about an hour open, but while it was good it really was an interesting drink.
