In my opinion, North316 nails the tasting note. I cannot add anything more. This is very good but not outstanding. And as North316 states, I also have 3 more bottles to go. We must have similar tastes.

Dark, inky color. Black and blue fruits on the nose. Jammy blackberry/blueberry cobbler palate as described by MartinD. Also agree with North316's comments about the nice acid balancing the sweetness and contributing to the longish, smooth finish. Tasty!

On first open this was very hot. This blew off after 10 or so minutes in the glass. Very dark color, this is definitely Petite Sirah. Very nice jammy blackberries and chocolate with hints of cocoa and baking spices. Very nice acid to balance out the sweetness and very smooth long finish. This is definitely a pleasant port and very different from the raiseny ports I have previously had. Glad I have 3 more bottles.

A bit hot after opening. Alcohol galore. After being open for a long while, it settled down well to a yummy syrup sugary dessert wine. Massive amounts of ink. Your mouth will be dark purple on the first sip. Get your tooth brushes ready.
