  Opened 3-1/2 hrs prior to dinner & slow-oxed in Riedel BDX glasses & btl. Deep garnet w/ semi opaque ruby center. Underbrush & trace balsa aromas. Sips are a suave elegant array of; plum, cherry, licorice, mineral, trace balsamic notes & underbrush. Lifted, fresh & relatively weightless for BdM. 14.5% alc goes unnoticed. I drink most reds at sub 62 which always helps w/ higher Alc. CT says I have one more but I'm skeptical. Great, if I do though! This is in its peak drinking wdw and should easily go another 3yrs with perhaps a little upside left. Tonight's btl was stellar and a pleasant surprise from an under the radar large producer. Winemaking and aging in botti seems mostly old school. Paid $39, drinking like $75+ tonight.
