Vermelho rubi. Frutas vermelhas, morango, cereja. Amadeirado, cedro, baunilha. Encorpado, taninos em evidência, mas estilo elegante e não opulento para um Hermitage.

New World Blind Tasting Group $25+ (Bin 75): Darker core with some clarity, dull violet rim; almost seemed corked on the nose initially but that wasn't quite right- wood tannin?, surprised how tannic and dry the palate was, dense structure, angular tannin, some vanilla cream and berries on the finish; hard to figure this was N. Rhone especially the same bottle that was so Burgundian in previous tastings, I hope this is just bottle variation.

See through dark carmine; nose of sour red fruit, sweet meaty cherry, floral, delicate, and pure, no black pepper; palate is lighter and focused like Burgundy with nice tension acidity and soft tannin, sweet fruit is on the red side of the spectrum with lots of sour cherry; if tasting blind I would have gone to Burgundy (Morey St. Denis) 95% of the time; a really deft touch for Syrah and Crozes; poured next to the Tournon from Chapoutier in Australia which was more like N. Rhone than this though you can't say the Sorrel wasn't really delicious.

Ruby purple; ripe blue and red fruit on the nose and palate in a structure and acidity more suited to Burgundy, delicious, a little pepper, extremely drinkable.

Au restaurant, pas de notes formelles. Couleur cerise foncée. Nez sur les fruits rouges. Belle bouche poivrée et ronde. Finit sur une belle longueur.
