This was a very nice bottle of wine and better than the bottle I had last year. One of the three Syrahs I opened for Super Bowl Sunday. The nose was all fruit. The palate was dark berries, dark cherries, plums, tobacco and spice leading to a moderately long finish. Actually this was my favorite of the evening beating out the two K Vintners that i had opened. Held up very well against the chili i made and as I have previously said "'my chili is not for the delicate palates of the world"

Much better on the nose than the palate. Really lovely Northern Rhone-inflected aromas of olive tapenade, garrigue, and stemmy spice, but the body is rather lean and acidic. This may just need time, but hard to say. Seemed to mellow out a bit by day 3, which is a good sign, but I'm not sure if the fading fruit will outlast the acids.

Very nice. Quick decant and drank over the next hour. Very nice Syrah. Smooth and not overpowering.

Candy shop, spearmint, underbrush, ripe berries, apple skin flavors. Gentle persistence.
A gem, consistent with vineyard's reputation.
