  Not holding well. This bottle, at least, has become angular and awkward with the acidity out of balance. Some blueberry mingled with typical tertiary notes on the nose and the tongue. A complex wine with a long finish, but those are mixed blessings since some of the lasting permutations are less than pleasant. Don't sleep on this one.

  Blackberry, crushed rock and some char. Medium boddied with same fruit and mineral characteristics. Long finish is pleasant, but gets a bit overwhelmed by the char that lingers the longest...probably knocks the score down a couple of points. All in all a very nice wine.

  Tasted at McCarthy & Schiering. Peppery, lightly floral with some blueberry. This has pretty nice mouthfeel with lots of very primary blueberry and blackberry. A long finish. While this is very primary and a bit clumsy, this is quite smooth and approachable.
