Nose that straight away says Burgundy, this wine has the butter and oak but remains light and fresh on the palate (some might venture a little thin but I don't think so) with a juicy citrusiness and perhaps just a twinge of bitter wood and alcohol in the finish that might suggest this wine is drinking a little young. Very drinkable now all the same, with enough substance to match well with turbot (and even hold its own with a herring starter) and a good aromatic profile (jasmine? floral at times, even hints of a good riesling in the nose - which perhaps makes more sense now I read that the producer is himself a big fan of riesling)
