  Picked up United Dumplings for dinner and decided to see if this bottle was a good pairing. Was good upon opening, if seeming slightly flat/over the hill. However, second glass was transformative - if we had realized we’d have decanted a bit before diving in. Silky but with just a hint of spice. Some cherry notes but nothing too jammy. Even better for the third glass. So happy this was still very much in the zone.

  Popped and poured.
  I've had a lot of Sea Smoke over the years (including a 2008 Ten a couple weeks ago) and this bottle was one of the best. Outstanding

  Took an hour but then drank great. Depth with an interesting balance of light & dark fruit. Very nice finish.
