  Really enjoyed this wine. Typical Syrah notes of smoke, spicy black pepper. Fruity but not fruit forward. Minimal tannins. Improved immensely over two hours.

  The most intense aroma I’ve smelled. Mature roses carry a few feet. Amazing rose and olive taste upfront. Higher acidity and no tannins at this point. On day 2, a very light leather belt and smoke taste developed as the final finishing notes. Wish I had more of this one of a kind wine.

  It was pretty good, nothing spectacular. We have had much better from Failla. Still very tight, so perhaps we did it no justice with a 3-hour decant. This review is reading more negatively than my experience with the wine, so please take that into consideration.
