Cleaning out the dustier bottles on the racks, this Hangtime I had picked up at a gas station liquor store in Montecito, and I wanted to entertain Dulcie after a hard day. Color is garnet going on brick red towards the rim; aroma is nothing particularly notable, rather muted; explodes on the palate however with nice concentration of cherry fruit and tart acidity, smooth mouthfeel, overall exceeded expectations.

I forgot to take my usual detailed notes on this one. Suffice it to say it's fruity and fresh, and sort of revels in its youth. I think it's definitely a "drink now" kind of wine (although, what do I know?). We really enjoyed it and will buy it again when we need a fresh, easy-to-drink red. I've always been a fan of Red Truck as a "gift wine" for my non-oenophile friends and parents. Hangtime may surpass Red Truck.

Simple, semi-jammy. Nothing to write home about but a decent pinot to have around for non-wine drinkers.

Very clear light ruby color. Flowery nose with light bodied tangy cherries on the palate. Barbara likes this one.
