  • Oeil rubis foncé;
    Le nez est au départ sur le fruit surette, on sent une certain acidité & des ponites métalliques. Il y a aussi une trame de note d'étable. +/- invitant sous cette forme. Le temps par-contre replace le bouet (un peu), le fruité est plus présent, légèrement fumée. Les épices s'joutent aussi & des notes végétales...
    La bouche est sur un fruité relativement mince, l'acidité est prononcé & la finale est sur des notes métalliques. Tout comme au nez, le temps améliore les choses, le fruité est plus présent, l'aspect métallique reste mais est beaucoup plus subtil.
    Bref, journée difficile au bureau?
    Bouteille pas à son meilleur...

  • After a totally underwhelming Brun Morgon last night here is a return to form. This is an S bottle and it's a terrific display of fresh, pure, full-on fruit. I am reminded of the little strawberries that are in season right now. Very, very drinkable--as in gulps, not sips--and thoroughly enjoyable.

  • Darker garnet colour - maybe showing some bottle age. This is a lot better than a couple years ago. The angles have been smoothed out and there's no more astringency. Red fruits and some earthiness. Medium weight.

  • It's been a couple of years since I've had one of these. It's an "N" bottle, so no sulfur. It has an overlay of brett (despite being perfectly stored). Not really a fan of this in Bojo. Beyond that, I'd say the wine is in a sedate, rather than dumb phase. It's lost all its youthful energy and crunchy brashness but not replaced it yet with much savory gravitas. It's o.k. Just not particularly memorable at the moment. I will keep my remaining bottles a while longer.

Excellent!
