  • Was slow to open. That beautiful sort of match stick smell on the nose, subtlely overlying the fruit. Was really well paired with scallops pan fried and smothered with spinach and melted gruyere cheese. The wine was way better with food, amazing change with food. This wine was actually the VVignes but I was surprised how well it showed for a 13 yr old Village level wine.
