This wine is delicious. Colour is quite deep gold for a dry wine and both nose and palate entry give the impression that there is a sweet wine trying to get out with its honeyed undertones. Yet the medium bodied wine has lively acidity and is dry enough to be an excellent pairing for unadorned turbot with citrus and mineral notes and underlying flesh.
excellent. a wine that really improves over the course of a meal - in this case Columbia River salmon with root and fresh vegetables. Floral, citrus with herbs, ample weight (not over-bearing) yet dry on the finish. I really like this style.
Consistent with previous bottles. Drunk over 5 days. Interestingly, not only the wine did not suffer one bit of being opened that long, but the sensation of RS diminished the longer the wine was opened. A terrific wine, I love it.
