  Tasted PnP and after a 1.5 hour decant. Nose was expressive yet balanced - dried cherries, leather, vanilla, hint of rose petal, blue flowers and wet stone. Palate follows nose, well balanced - acidity is fading and tannins are smooth and fully integrated. Not showing a huge amount of secondary characteristics but feels like has another 1-2 years before it nears the end of (what I would prefer) as a drinking window. Galloni called the normale "more elegant and less expressive than the Riserva". It was certainly elegant and it was well enjoyed with a spaghetti with red sauce.
