  • The wine is drinking absolutely beautifully - full weight, great flavors with seamless structure across the palate. It has the fruit and weight to pair with all kinds of foods-even the richest dishes of winter. Can hold.

  • Popped and poured, consumed over 2 hours. Nose: Medium expressiveness, black cherry, blueberry, cinnamon, spice, and dark flowers - violets. Palate: Medium bodied, spicy dark red fruit attack, nice mineral component, big acidic backbone on which the spicy fruit boldly rides thru the mid-palate all the way to the backend. Great length here as the finish starts strong and lingers for 30+ seconds. A great RRV from an underappreciated producer.

  • Popped one hour before first pour, consumed over four hours. Nose: Medium expressiveness, spicy dark red fruit - black cherry and cranberry, and black pepper. Palate: Medium full bodied, great balance, lovely spicy red fruit attack, holds up well thru the mid-palate, shows some nice creaminess in the back-end. Finish: Medium-plus length sense of spicy red fruit and cola.
