This was solid but not spectacular. Nice fruit, smokey and gamey. Nice mouthfeel and integrated tannins. Short on the finish and lacking complexity. Very drinkable though.

Drinking it young and I know it! Gamey nose at first, but then the alcohol overpowers the scent. Nice tannins, black fruit dominates the palate. A decent Rhone approximation.

Elusive: Grenache/Syrah/Mouvedre. Strawberry all over this. Highly tannic finish with big acidity. Will age nicely, very rich, full bodied, but not over-bearing.
