Rich and full-bodied with blueberry-dominant flavors with lots of toasty oak. Oak subsided a bit with air but way overdone for my palate. I can see people really enjoying this wine, but it doesn't suit my palate very well.
Dark purple color. This exudes aromas of blueberries, road tar, toast and alcohol. This is ripe and seemed strong. I had a hard time getting past the ripeness, but detected black currant jam and spice. 86, which is a good score per the scale.
