Community Tasting Notes (3) Avg Score: 89.2 points

  • On the nose a lush bouquet with some overripe stewed fruit notes that quickly blew off, leaving bright berries and red fruit dominating along with a pleasant and appropriate amount of wood. On the palate, medium bodied with great acidity and luscious red fruit but not much in the way of tannic structure. More bright berries, sour cherries and ripe red plums. Pleasant but somewhat unspectacular. Follow-up...I wasn't expecting much development in the glass but after 30 minutes the tannins have come out to play resulting in a much more balanced wine. Revising my score up to a 90. Very nice, but there are better options at the price.
