Popped and poured; consumed over three hours. Ruby color in the glass. Aromas of fresh cherry(?) and rock dust on the bouquet. Nice balance of fruit and acid...a bit of a sour cherry thing going on and more of the crushed rock character. Light on it's feet but never coming across thin...definitely gaining some weight with time in the glass. I loved the mineral element going on. This paired wonderfully with our meal which consisted of beef tenderloin, pumpkin stuffed ravioli with truffle oil and marinated and grilled mixed vegetables.
