PnD let air for 1hr. Deep dense purple saturated to violet rim. Initially lots of charred oak on the nose mellowed into plum cassis blackberry macerated cherry vanilla and toasted coconut. Medium(+) weight with nicely ripe powdery tannins. Ripe plum cherry blackberry with a touch of espresso and dark chocolate on the plate. Charred cherry finish. Very nice with lots of life ahead. Lots of fine sediment. Long decant if drinking now. great with a grilled NY Strip.

Medium ruby in color. Nose of dark cherry, black currant and spice. Flavors of cherry, spice and a bit of cigar box. Integrated tannins and a bit more acidity than many Syrahs. Medium finish. Very food friendly and a decent value. I have had a couple bottles of this now and like it.

Served with Greek (lamb/sirloin) Burgers. Perfect pairing. Polished, velvety and expressive, nice hints of black cherry, black olive, tobacco and dark spice flavors that sail into a long, complex finish. Excellent wine with years of age left in it.

OK nose, very good entry taste and mouth-feel, but too hot going down. Kinda kills the whole effect.
