Ah Yes, a nice Bourdeax that went wll with a rack of lamb. It has the characteistic Bourdaeax taste: fruit, with mellow tannins with mild herbal taste for a smooth taste that lingers. Not exceptionnal, but very adequate and fairly price at $30 a bottle. Drink up don't think it is getting better but should drink well until at leat 2023-- 88-89

Dark red color with slight change in color from rim to center. On nose, savory - sweet tobacco, black currants, charred wood. Palate had similar flavor profile. Medium body, medium+ acidity, integrated tannins and long finish. 91-92.
Need to more more recent vintages from this producer.

Opened, but did not decant, 2 hours before dinner. Medium red color. Tobacco, pencil lead, black currants on nose. Similar flavor profile on palate. Medium body, medium acidity/tannins and long finish. Very enjoyable. 91+/-
Would buy again and this is aging very well.

Needs more time. Deep, intense, black fruits with heavy merlot and cab franc notes. Strong acidity in mid palate and very dry. Not an easy drinker. Needs to be open for a couple of hours before drinking. Day 2 the wine is more balanced. Tannin softens and other than very dry notes throughout, it is quite pleasant with food. Big difference day 1 vs day 2. Would suggest opening the wine day before indulging. Rate an 87 day 1 and 89 day 2 for an 88 avg.

Very good. Strong scent and flavor of oak, dry and lots of depth. Long finish. Decanted for 3 hours.
