  Pop & pour, paired with Spanish tapas and paella. This wine was a little tight at first, but as the meal went on, it opened up into a beautiful drink. Heavy on the currant and black cherry fruit, with baking spice, and a lovely mocha finish. Medium acid, medium tannins, full body. This is drinking great now with a bit of air, but will continue to evolve for years. Drink now - 2025.

  I enjoy these Tenor / Mathews wines. This cab is well balanced but still young. I have a lot of this wine so I like to drink it often. This wine is a solid 92 and has great potential in years to come. Dark fruit with some tannins.

  Friends and I tasted this in the Woodinville tasting room on 3/15/14. It had a deep, yet, reserved bouquet of black currant, smoke, plum, black cherry, cocoa, mocha, licorice and spice aromas. The palate was tight and dry with flavors that followed the nose.
