Colour is still good, not looking old - has a tinge of green to it Beautiful florally nose Palate is really good - kind of in a middle-zone between young and developed riesling - has a really good rounded mouthfeel that you don't get with young riesling A good zing of acidity to it at the end - lemon/lime/sherbert and green apple skin on your teeth Really well balanced wine. I reckon it will cellar another few years but I'm liking it now

The Crawford River 2011 young vines was an excellent example of the slightly off dry Rieslings from Henty (Drumborg). Limes to the max, crunchy red apple, and a creamy and slippery mouthfeel balanced perfectly by acids. This was very high quality, but above all a joy to drink. Me and this on a Sunday arvo.
It’s mid life, drink now to 10 years.

Pale straw. Fresh nose, nicely citrusy. Plenty of zip here, lime, mineral and a touch of ripeness hinting at RS before a bone dry and long finish. Very good indeed. ***1/2

My Favourie Australian Wines; 8/27/2010-8/28/2014: Complex, rich and long. Amazing given it's from their young vines as it was my pick of their offerings. Neither South Australian-like, nor spicy, dry Germanic-style. Good.

10x20 Victorian Tasting (Customs House, Sydney, Australia): Appealing, youthful nose of florals, pineapple and honeydew melon. Palate has a crisp line of acidity and good length.
