Wasn't sure what to expect, but this was singing. The thing you notice most is it has an extra acidic cut to it. But it's far from thin and it's balanced quite nicely. We drank it without food although my immediate thought was "this would be really great with a meal". Only thing holding this back slightly is the nose which isn't overly expressive. Theres a touch of herbs in there with a mild red fruit aroma but not something you notice far from you glass. That said if it had that as well it would be up with my all time favorites.

Medium ruby. Just a hint of violet on the nose, but the palate has beautiful cherry, cranberry, mineral and hint of cedar. Acidic enough to pair well with rich food. Medium to long finish. This is drinking beautifully now, but certainly no rush. My last bottle of this and sorry to see it go.

Consumed over 2 nights. Initially PnP, then drank over 1+ hr. on 1st night. Better than the last time I recall. Ripe & tart raspberry, cranapple, sprinkling of spice, mineral, pine needle. Elegant & finessed w/soft integrated tannins, crisp acidity & a short clean finish. On 2nd nght this showed a similar profile w/laser-like minerality as the 1st time I had this. Evolving nicely & should continue to improve w/a little more cellaring.

Decent enough, but wouldn't hold onto this much longer. Simple and straightforward; the 2011 Coastalina we had recently was much better.
