Clear pale lemon color. Clean nose of medium intensity, starts with typical grass notes and green fruit, but it also shows an underlying sweetness that resembes freshkly pressed grapes (nice!). With some time in the glass, stalk/leafy notes emerge. Young Dry mouth, medium body and intensity, medium+ on the acidity and medium alcohol (13.5%) showing herbal and green fruit (apple+pear), a bit out of balance with the acidity prevailing (but then again this a S.B.), medium finish. Young Very good wine, mid to high price, drinking now (with food) but could hold.

90 Voluptuous palate for a Savignon Blanc. Very round and mouth filling yet enough acidity to carry it off. Unique tangerine taste with a somewhat bitter finish.

Even more impressive this time, with a lovely combination of citrus and tropical fruits on the nose with hints of greenness and herbacioussness. Medium-bodied, very crispy and vibrant with high acidity and an impressively long zesty and slightly bitter yet absolutely savoury aftertatse. A world class sauvignon blanc from northern Greece.

This is the best Alpha Estate s.b. I have had to date. Light lemon yellow-green color. Elegant nose with lemon grass, green pear, citrus fruit, grassy notes and minerality. Medium-bodied and silky-textured, with ultra-clean and bright fruit, vibrancy and mouthwatering acidity. Med+ aftertaste with a savory bitterness. Extremely versatile to pair with a vast array of dishes.
