A little more reticent both on the nose and palate than the previous bottle. Green apple, lime peel and unripe pineapple notes on the nose with a nice smoky aspect. Even though this is 14%, it shows a superb balance with a good acidity. Another bottle I really enjoyed even if this bottle seemed a little shut down.
Chenin Blanc Blind Tasting (My Home): Tasted Blind. The ringer in our tasting and nobody thought this was not a chenin ! This was one of my bottle and recognized it but overall this was totally NOT out of place. A lot of iodine notes, like smelling the sea. There's also a touch of rotten egg which blows off after a few minutes. Palate shows green pineapple, a touch of dried fruits and a hint of anise. The wine floats on your palate. Very good.
