Taste: Nice and polished medium body with tart medium+ acidity and some nice tannins. The structure isn't necessarily imposing, but it does show some youth along with the tones of plums, dark red fruits, cherries, and rose petals.
Overall: This is a very pretty wine that needs some time. Well balanced with very good depth and a more nuanced nature to it.
Really good nose this one, bright red berry and cherry aromas, baking spices, light dried herbs. The palate is lighter weight but has very good feel and intensity. Fresh cherries, raspberries, baking spices, all well integrated with the structure and long on the finish. Drinking really well, very delicious.
At the winery tasting room. In the glass: Light garnet, decent legs. On the nose: Sour/tart cherries, Herbal. In the mouth: Less concentrated, typical pinot of pepper spice & tart cherries, toasty oak, light finish. Did not get the retail, but if its priced like their other selections, it will be overpriced.
