($14) Blind Spanish Wines at De Tapas: Blind Red 4 - Translucent, electric purple in the glass. Vibrant, youthful fruit with a not off-putting suggestion of young grapes. Eucalyptus. Smells nice. Rich fruity raspberry on the second go round. I like this. Nice value.

($6) I think this is the first time I understood why this wine got so much publicity. Black cherries in a fruit forward, well balanced, rich little wine package. Nice with a grilled ham and brie sandwich after a long day of home remodeling.

($5) Nose of smoke, minerals and dry earth, perhaps some wood and iodine as well. Low to moderate acidity, medium length, medium-full bodied. Orange finish? Impressive for $5. Somewhat metallic palate.
