This is sort of an outlier as far as Rhys goes. Very ripe, mostly red fruits dominated by cherries and kind of one dimensional. Very low level of tannins and acid. Still enjoyable, but I would drink these sooner vs. later.
Opened and drank after 1 hour. Creamy, strawberry, rhubarb and earth. Tannins a fairly well resolved but not gone completely. It's very good with great balance but lacks complexity. I'd drink now through the next few years.
pnp at a restaurant. very expressive from the start this evolved over an hour to show intense red fruit, pine needles, and violets on the nose. on the palate there was nice structure and red fruited character with savory notes balancing it out. really in a nice place right now but no need to hurry.
PnP at a local restaurant. Great aromatics with red fruits and spice. Strawberry, black cherry, dried flowers and spice aromas. Medium bodied. The palate mirrors the nose. Very soft, silky and smooth. Soft tannins in the long finish. Went well with lamb and pork. Kept getting better over the next 2 hours. in a really good spot now and will easily hold for years, but may get better with a few more years.
